Welcome 2009! NoVa Barrier Waterproofing Systems

Hello family, friends, and partners;

Greetings and Happy New Year from NoVa Barrier Waterproofing Systems. 2008 will go down in history for many things like our newly elected President, the stock market situation, and the never-ending scandal in the ranks. But for Home and Property Resolutions LLC, the departure of 2008 marks the end of our second year of operations. A great outcome of this year is that the company did nearly 4 times the business it did in 2007. We are very proud of that fact.

Another big event for 2008 was expansion into the waterproofing business partnering with Barrier Home Solutions and gaining advantages in the market because of their association with Owens Corning. We started NoVa Barrier Waterproofing Systems in 11 Northern Virginia counties which we will continue to serve this next year. As 2009 starts, we are adding 36 counties that comprise Southeast Virginia to our service area. We will be able to provide TRUE waterproofing to a full two thirds of the total homes in the state.

Like most of you… our friends, financers, customers and suppliers… we face the New Year uncertain of what the upcoming months might bring. We know that most of you will not be selling your home and in fact most Americans will be staying in their homes much longer then they had planned on. That presents an opportunity for both HPR and NVBWS. Since the option to move is gone, changes or improvements must come from fixing (remodeling) or changing (waterproofing the basement) the homes we live in and our neighbors do as well. Our business has thrived off of the people and companies we associate with referring us to their friends, neighbors, customers, and other acquaintances. For those of you who have referred us already, thank you very much and I hope that we can continue to maintain your trust going forward. For those who have not yet referred us, we look forward to proving we are capable of serving your referrals in a manner that reflects positively on you.

We know that we can best serve your needs when we understand what those needs are. And by expressing our needs, we may find someone or some company that can help us with the next phase of our business. Therefore we are letting you know that we have a short term need to fund the expansion into Southeast Virginia and also have a need for business partners in that area to service contracts for us. We also have an opportunity to expand on a National and International level and are looking for financial partners who are interested in seeing the long term growth of the business turn into a long term source of investment income as HPR prepares to go global over the next few years. We can not elaborate on those plans at this time but interested parties will be given the basic information and if interested can contact us for further information as we receive it. Suffice it to say we are extremely excited over the possibility of going global and the opportunities it presents us as a company.

We look for 2009 to be a year of growth, learning, and meeting new friends as well as maintaining the friendships we have made in 2008. Happy New Year everyone!
